January 13, 2016: Thanks to concerted efforts of local state representatives, when Gov. Tom Wolf released emergency education funds with his signature on a $24 billion partial budget, $3 million of that was earmarked to assist with the transition of Wilkinsburg High School students to Westinghouse in the Pittsburgh Public School District.
