Technical Assistance

The WCDC assists residents with property research, determining ownership history of a vacant property and options for rehabilitation and ownership.

Additionally, we provide assistance with applications for the Allegheny County Vacant Property Recovery Program, which can enable residents to acquire qualifying vacant, tax-delinquent properties.

We also maintain a property inventory, and analyze community trends along with data from Allegheny County to assist in community decision-making.
