A Free Porch Beautification Program for Wilkinsburg Residents
Launched in 2026, the Pretty Up Your Porch (PUP) program provides residents with low-cost improvements to their homes.
Eligible improvements may include:
- New front door or paint
- Updated porch light fixtures
- Modern address numbers or mailbox
- Minor repairs and curb appeal touches
Households earning 80% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI) may be eligible.
The WCDC is committed to supporting residents of Wilkinsburg around vacant property, stabilization, and preservation needs. Thanks to funding from the PNC Foundation, we helped nearly 30 homeowners improve their properties through the PUP program in 2026.
