Homeowner Assistance Repair Program (HARP)

For our third cycle of HARP, the WCDC has selected Wilkinsburg homeowners in need of repairs or replacements for roofs, gutters and downspouts only. Our goal is to help stabilize our housing stock for current and future generations, preventing displacement and loss of homes.

The WCDC is committed to supporting residents of Wilkinsburg around vacant property, stabilization, and preservation needs. Thanks to funding from PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), since 2022, we have worked with dozens of residents to acquire vacant properties for rehab or to expand their property by adding a side yard. Through HARP, we’ve helped nearly 60 homeowners to improve their properties through stabilizing repairs.
