Direct Assistance
The WCDC offers several direct assistance programs through the Strong Neighborhoods Initiative. These programs are aimed at improving properties in the Wilkinsburg community and ensuring residents’ futures are financially secure.
By using grant money and sponsor funding in the way residents want it to be used, these programs give residents more control and ensure money stays in their community.
The direct assistance programs also help our neighbors build generational wealth that will provide their families and children with a more secure future.
